Who’s Hot-Desking Podcast

Our business is based in a smart office complex in Bedford called ‘Bedford Heights’. There are lots of small businesses in the building, from accountants to counsellors, lawyers, property managers and everything else in between. Two such entrepreneurs are digital marketers Carl and Ben, who host a podcast called Who’s Hot-Desking, on which they interview Bedford Heights residents to find out about their businesses.

Matt and I were delighted to have the opportunity to join Carl and Ben on their podcast.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the show, discussing our experiences launching Modern Architecture Workshop just before the pandemic hit in February 2020. It has been an interesting journey as we’ve navigated the COVID-induced lockdowns, disappearing projects and false starts, and the opportunities of being a family-run business.

We’re often told that our voices sound the same, which is now unquestionably obvious. If you struggle to tell us apart, Matt talks more about architecture and buildings, whereas I talk about all things marketing, communications and the business of being an architecture practice.
